But I still want to become a shut-in and develop a really dark HBO-esque retelling of the strike starring the real strike figures.
I am hoping that Copper, the new BBC America series, will somewhat feed addiction to dark 1800s NYC underworld.

Yes, because in the movie, Kid Blink is the leader of the strike. And for even more historical accuracy, they even put in the singing and dancing.

Oh noooo lol now I have to watch the rest of it for sure. ;) I basically didn’t like the first episode except when they were at the bar and all the ladies were like “oh hiiii” and he was like “lol I slept with them alllllll I am so blinnnnnd.” It was great. :D

Just got finished watching the first episode of Covert Affairs. I am in it for Christopher Gorham. Okay I lie. I am in it for Henry Dunn. I got through the show imagining that Henry somehow escaped Harper’s Island and entered the CIA. It made things easier.
HE IS TOO ATTRACTIVE.
[Recently I rewatched the movie Newsies after several years. It was one of the most influential movies of my life; for many years as a college boy I ran the first and for a while only website dedicated to it, newsies.org. Recently, my dreams came true when it came to Broadway. I loved the show, and so decided to sit down and see what my current self thinks of the movie I loved so much.—me]***

Rented on itunes. I have a copy ripped from my DVD, but hey, let’s give some residuals. Do they still get residuals? Maybe that’s just tv.
The prologue is flawless.
Why is there a pink cast to everything? Maybe it’s my computer gamma. No, it’s the same on my TV as well.
